Subrogation Recovery

Subrogation recovery is the end-to-end process of identifying, pursuing, and collecting reimbursement from an at-fault third party after a claim is paid.

Recovery is the operational side of subrogation. It spans spotting a recoverable claim, establishing liability, building an evidence package, issuing a demand, and collecting, often through negotiation or inter-company arbitration rather than court.

  1. 01Identification, flag claims with recovery potential at or after payment.
  2. 02Investigation, reconstruct the facts and weigh liability.
  3. 03Demand, assemble the cited evidence and issue a demand for reimbursement.
  4. 04Resolution, negotiate, arbitrate, or litigate to collect.
