Certvian Recovery Services

Your subrogation desk.
Staffed by ours.

Send us your paid-claim files, or the closed book nobody had time to work, and our recovery unit pursues the recoveries end to end on the Certvian platform: cited triage, demands, negotiation, arbitration preparation, remittance. Engagements are typically contingency-based; we’re paid when you recover.

Start with a no-obligation review of a sample of your paid or closed files.

Who this is for

Built for the books nobody is working.

Regional & mid-market carriers

Recovery potential without a dedicated subrogation desk. We become the desk.

Self-insured fleets & businesses

You absorb losses a carrier would normally chase. Your paid claims have recoveries in them too.

TPAs adding recovery

Offer subrogation as a service to your book without building the team. White-glove, on our platform.

Closed-file reviews

A look-back across files closed without pursuit. Missed recoveries are found, documented, and worked.

How an engagement works

Five steps, none of them a leap.

The engagement is structured so the first commitment is small and every later one is informed by cited results, not promises.

01

Share a sample

Start with a slice of your paid or closed files, transferred securely or simply forwarded the way our software customers forward claims. No system integration, no commitment.

02

Cited triage

Every file runs through the platform. You get back a viability report, each case rated, dollar-estimated, and evidence-cited, showing what's recoverable, what isn't, and why. The report is yours either way.

03

Scope & guardrails

We agree terms and set your guardrails in the product: what we may send on your behalf, dollar thresholds, and exactly where your sign-off is required. The contingency structure is agreed here, per book.

04

We work the book

Our recovery unit pursues each viable file: document requests, demands, negotiation, arbitration preparation. Every outbound routes through the same structural approval gate our software enforces; anything going out under your name waits for the approvals you configured.

05

Recover & remit

Recoveries are remitted with full accounting. Every case closes with a cited file and an append-only audit trail, and both are yours to keep.

What you keep

Outsourced work. Nothing outsourced about the visibility.

Most recovery vendors hand back a monthly spreadsheet. Because our unit runs on the Certvian platform, you get what our software customers get: full transparency into every case as it moves.

A login, not a report

You watch every case live in the same workspace our analysts use: the chronology, the viability verdict, the drafts, the evidence behind each figure.

Approval over your name

Nothing is sent on your behalf without the approvals you configured. The gate is structural: an outbound email cannot exist without a recorded decision.

Cited case files

Every dollar figure, liability read, and demand traces to its source span. If you're ever asked to defend a recovery, the file already answers.

The audit trail

An append-only record of everything done on your behalf: who, what, when, and on what evidence. It cannot be edited after the fact.

Your data, returned

Files, work product, and the audit log are exportable at any point, and retention or deletion at engagement end follows your policy, not ours.

The $5,000 file is worth working again.

Recovery vendors set minimums because manual review is expensive: below a threshold, the hour costs more than the file returns, so small recoveries are declined by policy and written off by default. Our analysts open cases the platform has already reconstructed, scored, and drafted, which changes the economics: the mid-size and small files most vendors decline are exactly the book we’re built to work.

Common questions

What claims leaders ask us first.

Do we have to buy the software?+

No. A services engagement stands alone; there's nothing to install or integrate on your side. Some clients later bring the platform in-house once their own team is ready; when that happens, the cases, files, and history are already there.

How are you paid?+

Typically on contingency, agreed at scoping for the specific book, so we're paid when you recover. Closed-file look-backs often begin as a fixed-scope review of a sample, with the cited triage report yours regardless of what you decide next.

Who approves demands that go out under our name?+

You decide, and the platform enforces it. Hold every approval yourself, or delegate routine document requests and set dollar thresholds above which your sign-off is required, the same guardrails our software customers configure at onboarding.

Which claims are a fit?+

Auto and property paid claims with third-party fault potential: open files, recently closed ones, or a look-back across a closed book. If you're unsure whether a book has recovery in it, that's precisely what the sample triage answers.

What happens to our data when the engagement ends?+

Case files, work product, and the append-only audit log are exportable at any time, and end-of-engagement retention or deletion follows your record-retention policy. The work was done in your tenant; it stays yours.
