Liability
Liability is legal responsibility for a loss, establishing who was at fault, and to what degree, is the foundation of any subrogation claim.
No recovery survives without a defensible liability theory. Establishing liability means reconstructing the sequence of events from the available evidence and mapping it to the applicable rules of fault. In subrogation this is often the hardest, most judgment-heavy step, and the one AI is now used to accelerate by weighing the evidence in the file.
